About DUSK
DUSK is the UK’s largest nightlife app. We showcase the best bars and reward our users for going out with free drinks, exclusive offers & the coolest rewards.
We work with the biggest alcohol brands from Guinness to Patrón to get their drinks into Millennial & Gen-Z hands through experiential marketing at scale - sponsoring free drinks in 1000s of our partner bars.
We are UK-wide, and will be expanding in more major cities, such as Birmingham.
What you’ll be doing
- Be the face of DUSK in Birmingham
- Understand our brand image and values and use these to create buzz within Birmingham to reach other students
- Plan and execute ideas to generate excitement and boost app downloads and usage within your university and area
- Be our eyes and ears, keeping on top of local nightlife developments via newsletters, online search and general word-of-mouth, and feeding this back to DUSK HQ
- Pay will be £10 per hour, with typical duties taking no more than 8 hours spread across a week. There may occasionally be the need to support events and tasks, of which we will provide due notice for. If your work reasonably exceeds 8 hours per week, you’ll be paid for your time
- The role will provide invaluable experience working with a London-based tech start-up. It will also be instrumental in developing transferrable marketing and project management skills
Who you are
- We’re looking for an outgoing and confident self-starter with lots of ideas and an eye for what's trending
- You enjoy nightlife and are up to date with the latest and greatest in your city
- You’re active on social media with a wide social presence and understanding of trends and current events.
- You're an excellent verbal and written communicator with a strong attention to detail
- We want a team player who is able to work hard and play hard
Key responsibilities
- Your wider aim will be to generate a weekly increase in DUSK referrals and users in your city. To do this, you'll generate buzz by putting DUSK on the map through events, marketing and word-of-mouth
